Today we are meditating on the aspects of Malchut of Hod; or the humility of our sovereignty. This trait involves dignity. Dignity is the essence of humility and modesty.
DIGNITY WITH HUMILITY
True sovereignty always involves humility. Pure royalty is all about being humble and serving your people. If the human spirit is suppressed or if individual sovereignty cannot be achieved the process is not real humility.
HEROIC EXAMPLES
An example of sovereign humility would be Queen Esther risking her life for her people by breaking protocol and going to see the King.
Another example would be King David showing respect for King Saul before David’s time of reigning took place.
In all of their humbleness; neither person lost their personal dignity.
Though they bowed before others; they represented nobility in their bowing.
QUESTIONS:
Does my humility make me feel dignified?
Do I feel alive and vibrant when I express this humility?
WALK TALL
Back in the 70’s there was a movie called “Walking Tall.” It was about someone who stood for what was right with humility. This person maintained their personal dignity through each step of the way.
Walking humbly with dignity is walking tall.
