Happy Fall Everyone!

September of 2022 has already come and gone. The days are flying by for us here. The September days leading into the beginning of the Fall Season brought so much joy.

How about you?

The times of The Fall Holy Days were nearly upon us. They culminate later this year well into the month of October; but the days of meditations, repentance and turning that we enjoy during the season of Teshuva produced many articles for the season.

It is already time for us to recap our September articles. This month was a bit unusual because we decided to have an Elul meditation for each day of the Hebraic month of Elul. You may wish to go back and review any of the meditations you missed. This was a LOT of heavy reading for one month. We had to forego our usual day-to-day September articles in order to be able to keep the pace. There are many fall articles in the archives for The House Doctor, Monday Menus, Oh The Places We Should Go, An Apple A Day, and other topic columns that you might have expected. Just search out our old September archives for the past ten years. You might find a few gems hiding there that we did not have time to repeat.

We also threw in a few extra articles to complement the lessons in our COME AS A CHILD BIBLE STUDY LESSONS. There is just SO MUCH on each subject that we are discussing that we feel the need to add supplementary information from time-to-time. It just seems appropriate to do so while we are in the subjects at hand. This month’s recap has a re-publication of each of the articles from our Joshua Study during the month of September.

We hope you are enjoying the study!

From the comments we have received from various readers it is easy to tell that God is using these lessons to help us through current times. Thanks to all who have sent encouraging notes.

If you wish to receive all of the lessons; just click the “submit” button above each lesson heading. We are so happy to have our Thursday on-line bible study group growing. New members keep joining in with us each month. There are now 128 official members in our group.

TOOL FOR THE DAYS OF AWE

The above article gives you more information about a book we published in September which offers meditations for Christians during The Ten Days of Awe. It was the first of two books we published in this month of September of 2022.

The second book we published in September is a book of fictional stories (however it is possible that much of some of the stories COULD BE true.) We called this story collection GOLDEN TALES FOR RAINY DAYS.

This is one of those rare books that can be enjoyed by all age groups; both children and adults. The stories are grouped by seasons. Included are sections with stories for Purim and The Feast of Tabernacles and Hanukkah. The short stories come from a collection of stories that Gail Landgraf has told to her grandkids over the years. She hopes to have the hardback edition ready for purchase by December of this year. In the meantime; even the paperback is extra special,

Enjoy!

WHAT IS COMING IN OCTOBER?

We are running late (as usual) in publishing this newsletter so many of you may already know what we have pulled out for the first week of October. Of course we have shared many articles in the SEASONS topics that relate to The Ten Days of Awe, The Day of Atonement and The Feast of Tabernacles. Articles are on-going still for The Feast of Tabernacles.

We hope to share the excitement of our journey to the feast and would love to hear from some of our readers about their journeys too. If you wish for us to publish your story for this year; just let us know. We would love to hear all about your Feast of Tabernacles experiences.

There will be other seasonal articles in this month; some of them may not be your favorites. We plan to discuss our opinion of Halloween. It isn’t pretty! I hope we don’t lose anyone with those articles; but we are living in a day and time in which truth needs to come forth.

PEN ART

Have you read Jonathan Cahn’s “Return of The Gods” yet? We have found it to be a fascinating book. Every page is full of amazing eye-opening facts. If time allows; we want to do a book review of this book in October.

There are some new fall poems we want to share. We would also love any poetic submissions for publication to share among our readers in the PEN ART column this season. Have you written any poetry lately? We can’t pay; but we would be happy to publish for you.

MONDAY NIGHT MENUS

This is our favorite time of the year to bring out a few new cooking articles. Do you have any new Fall recipes you wish to share? Send them to wordcastlepublications@gmail. com. It may be fun to share a few of the festive dishes we took to The Feast of Tabernacles. It also might be interesting to get a head start into the Thanksgiving season organization.

THE HOUSE DOCTOR

We are about to enter a new fall decorating scheme using the colors of green and gold. If it turns out to be promising, we will share a few photos and ideas. We are also pondering the best theme to pull off for our Thanksgiving Family Celebration this year. So far we have done Thanksgiving at the Farm, Thanksgiving In A Vineyard, Thanksgiving by The Sea and A Classic Thanksgiving. Our thoughts for this year are leaning toward Thanksgiving in The Mountains; but we will let you know soon. In the meantime we may review some of those old Thanksgiving articles just to get your thoughts headed in that direction.

AN APPLE A DAY

Fall seems a great time to turn our thoughts toward more healthy living. These last two years have been an emotionally struggling time for many. Maybe we will present a few new articles with suggestions on how to put more peace and harmony into your lifestyle. Who couldn’t use more of those two emotions?

PRODUCTS

We hope to have yet more new publications to tell you about later in October. It has been a busy writing/publishing time for the author of this blog. Thank God for football season; huh? If you are a writer and have a husband glued to the ballgames each Fall; you only need to rejoice and be glad. More time for writing projects! Our readers are the beneficiaries of our happy new-found blocks of time.

ALL MY DAYS CALENDAR

The All My Days Calendar page of this blog needs to be updated. It has not escaped our attention. Look for updates on the Hebraic calendar months and articles for the days they bring. Are you finding that living out the rhythm of life produced from God’s calendar’s patterns are making your life rich and fulfilled? I hope you love keeping up with these things as much as we do here.
