The IN SEASON Lifestyle Newsletter for April 2021

We are sorry to be putting this Newsletter out so late.

It seems that April just fades right into May and there is no break, or any free time for taking a breath.

Our Newsletter got caught “undone” in this flurry of the beginning of May, and we are just now getting around to our review of April.

Also, the publishing of our May Community Store was affected by some Amazon technical problems that we can’t control from our side. Hopefully they will get it all straight soon. In the meantime, we are working on new solutions and we WERE able to get the store done; it just wasn’t easy or fast. For some strange reason we can’t post our own book ads anymore; so if you want to purchase THE GOSEPEL HIDDEN IN GENESIS; BOOKS ONE OR TWO, just go to Amazon.com and put in the title and our Author’s Page with our ads should pop up for you to make any purchases you wish to make.

Life is always going to have bumps in the road, but we have found the secret is not to let those little bumps ruin the whole journey.

We still have lots of exciting results to share from our April articles and also more new ideas to preview for our May features.

No matter what troubles we seem to encounter in this blogging universe; The IN SEASON Lifestyle has been able to share abundant blessings from God around every corner. That is because our readers are the best!

Let’s look at what happened here in April of 2021:

SEASONS TOPICS- REVIEWS FOR APRIL:

Of course; our SEASONS articles were FULL with continued news of The Passover, Early First Fruits and Resurrection, and Omer Counting days.  Most of these subjects were covered well in March to be timely; but a few did carry over into April.

SEASON’S TOPICS – PREVIEWS FOR MAY

You know we love the Kentucky Derby.  We will give you our thoughts about why that is so in May.

Mother’s Day articles will abound in May of 2021. It is always a great celebration.

Pentecost is one of our favorite Holy Days!  We will be discussing this topic in great detail during the month of May. We have gathered more fun ideas again this year and we will be rerunning a few of last year’s ideas too.

We cannot ever forget to observe Memorial Day.  In May the SEASONS topics will cover stories about our Veterans and their service to our country.  We will reprint our World War I and World War II articles; and we are going to progress on through all of our war stories with some new articles about The War in Vietnam. this year.

OH THE PLACES WE SHOULD GO – MAY PREVIEW

In May we hope to have articles on our take of Murphy, N.C. and Bryson City, N.C.  Maybe we will find a few spring/summer festivals in the South too; you never know.  There is another Alabama Outdoor Marketplace that we did not cover in our last article on the subject that may appear in our May Previews.

MONDAY NIGHT MENUS – APRIL REVIEWS

The author was hoping to share her gardening success with vegetable recipes and spring salads in April; but time did not allow.  Perhaps we can remedy this in May

COME AS A CHILD – APRIL REVIEWS

We could almost call the articles for The COME AS A CHILD BIBLE STUDY for April 2021 the “do nots.”  God was telling the people of Israel what they should do and what they should NOT do when they finally entered the land of promise.  Here are the links if you wish to review one ore time:

PUT A PARAPET AROUND YOUR ROOF
DO NOT PLANT TWO KINDS OF SEED IN YOUR VINEYARD
DO NOT PLOW WITH AN OX AND DONKEY YOKED TOGETHER
DO NOT MIX LINEN WITH WOOL

COME AS A CHILD – MAY PREVIEWS

We will continue to study Deuteronomy in May.  Right now we are at Chapter 22 and we will be progressing page-by-page as we go.  If you are trying to keep up with these bible studies, and/or like to go back and review the one’s we have given in the past, you can click into the blog under the COME AS A CHILD topics and they will be split out and displayed by date, newest to oldest.  You can also look up the lessons by year and date by using our archive feature on the right side of our main page.  We love your comments and questions about these bible study lessons.

Be sure to order THE GOSPEL HIDDEN IN GENESIS BOOK ONE AND TWO from Amazon.com.  These two books cover our Genesis study from the past.  We are compiling a workbook to offer with these two books for small group bible studies.  The members of The IN SEASON Lifestyle community will be the first to know when that publication comes out.  You might want to sign up for our e-mails just to be safe. There is a sign-up space at the top of each of our blog articles.

PRODUCTS FOR MAY

Amazon seems to be experiencing some technical difficulties this month that kept our store from being as full as usual; but here are some links that we were able to secure and hope that you enjoy browsing through each of them. AN APPLE A DAY – REVIEW AND PREVIEW FOR APRIL AND MAY

This column didn’t get an article in April; as we were so busy giving you seasonal and travel articles.  We hope to change that status in May with at least one article for AN APPLE A DAY.  Time will tell.

PIECES OF THE PUZZLE – REVIEW AND PREVIEW FOR APRIL AND MAY

This topic category was also left empty for APRIL; as we didn’t hit on too many theological articles after the passing of Passover, Early First Fruits and The Counting of the Omer.  April didn’t leave us with too many unanswered questions; but with May comes Pentecost.  There may be a few articles that go into the theology behind the celebration of Pentecost in May.

PEN ART – REVIEW AND PREVIEW FOR APRIL AND MAY

April PEN ART didn’t get an article this month; but it wasn’t for lack of ideas; it was more like lack of time.  May’s PEN ART Preview will bring some new articles though.  We start May off with an article that explains The IN SEASON Lifestyle’s ideas for some Family Tree teachings and crafts.  Look forward to enjoying that; and we suspect there may be a poem or two coming out in May if life follows its usual inspirational ways.  We are still hopeful for some more completed book reviews. All in time my friends! We haven’t forgotten them.

We are so happy that you are reading along with us, living in community and trying to turn the world upside down and inside out as Jesus has taught us to do.  Keep reading through May and see what other surprises we may want to include.

Our readers are The Best!

Happy Mother’s Day, Pentecost and Memorial Day to everyone!
