I know it is only September; but November is right around the corner and there is SO MUCH to get ready for!
Time to start searching for ideas and supplies for all the seasons coming up.
We have Thanksgiving (of course) and the fact that Fall makes for lots of new changes in decor, clothing, travel, cooking, etc.
Everyone is watching football this year and it is so nice to see crowds again! Of course you are going to need some tail-gating supplies.
Before you know it; you will be wrapping those Christmas gifts. We celebrated the birth of Christ at The Feast of Tabernacles; but our family celebrates the CONCEPTION of Christ in December (as well as Channukah.)
We love to focus on the fact that He is the Light of the World. It all blends truthfully; not at all in a pagan way; and we DO allow gift-giving as long as we keep it simple and do not get too extravagant.
Our greatest gifts are our sacrifices at the altar of God and we need to keep that in mind. However, showing your generosity for friendship and sharing in each other’s abundance from God is also a good thing. Just ask the wise men; but make sure you catch them AFTER Christmas, when they truly arrived in Bethlehem (at the house instead of the stable – many months later.)
We still remember their thoughtfulness in giving to Jesus, and we need to do the same. After we have given all we can to Jesus; we also give little thoughtful gifts to one another; and some of those ideas for making your own creative gifts will be found here in the Community Store for November 2021.
All of the other seasonal surprises are here for you.
So; here you are – shop and enjoy the seasonal blessings!
