Goodbye Oh beautiful September. We will miss you so much! I sincerely hope your month of September was as wonderful and filled full of blessings as ours was.

September could not have been more delightful. All of the wonderfulness continued on and spilled over into the beginning of October. This was mostly because of how we enjoyed The Fall Feast of Tabernacles. It began late September and ended early October. God showed up and blessed us beyond our wildest imaginations.

Here at The IN SEASON Lifestyle, we simply love everything about the season of Fall. Could there ever be a more lovely season?

So; you can guess the main topics of our September articles can’t you? They were all about the Fall Holy Days and the changing of the season of summer into fall.

October will definitely be presenting us with more of the same.

SEASONS

The Seasons topics began with many Fall Holy day articles. I’ll just divide them up here to give you all of the reviews. These seasonal articles will be great to save in your notes for next year’s observances and celebrations:

COMING IN OCTOBER 2023

Just as we leave the Feast of Tabernacles and arrive back home anxious to begin to live godly lives that fulfil our purpose and destiny from God; we have to experience the worldly holidays of Halloween and The Day of the Dead that have invaded our current culture. They are all about death and we are all about life!

Needless to say we will have a few articles reviewing our feelings on these holidays of man which have evolved from pagan cultures. They appear every October. We feel our review are in the minority; but they are still our reviews and they will never change.

In spite of the negative side; the rest of October shares so much wonder and beauty for us. We have fall poetry to share along with some book reviews that we have been promising for a few months.

One exciting feature of our PEN ART Topics for the month of October will preview the book launch for Gail Landgraf’s new book: “EXODUS TO FREEDOM.” It is all about how to live in the freedom of a godly lifestyle in the middle of a pagan culture. The world is changing so fast and presenting us with new challenges every day. Knowing God’s best for us and following those suggestions in Exodus leads us to freedom. Exodus is the answer. If you participated in the Exodus bible study; this is a summary of those teachings with even more commentary.

We will continue to study The Book of Judges this October, so please continue to turn the pages of the bible with us every Thursday. Judges has truly been an eye-opening study. There are so many parallels for today’s living in the times of the Judges of Israel. I pray that we can learn from them.

October brings out our creative side, so be looking for some new fall recipes, travel articles, health tips and articles on ageing with grace in the days to come.

We will be seeing you over in October!
