March 1, 2025 on the Gregorian calendar becomes Rosh Chodesh Adar 5785 on the Hebraic Calendar. It is already time for us to say goodbye to Shevat and welcome the birth of Adar. In this last month of the year on the civil Hebrew calendar, the new moon is showing off. AN EXODUS FROM SLAVERY
If we had been alive during the times of the slavery of Israel to Egypt, this would be approximately six weeks before the Exodus began. It was the day of complete darkness brought on by Pharaoh’s refusal to obey God and let the People of Israel go out to the wilderness to worship God.
Egypt faced a horrid darkness. However, the Israelites had light in all of their homes.
Day after day they ate the bread of affliction and suffered under harsh taskmasters.
However, God reversed that situation. He is the God of great reversals.
RECALLING ESTHER’S STORY
Then there is the fact that this is the month of Purim and time for the remembrance of the plight of Esther. We know that the wicked Haman tricked the King and tried to hang Mordecai and have all of the Jews executed by decree.
However; God reversed that situation. He is the God of great reversals.
A MESSAGE TO THE NATIONS
I think all wicked leaders with bad intentions might want to pay attention and lay low. This is the month where God always comes to the aid of His people. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the fast-paced world changes that are relevant to us today.
Hamans and Pharaohs beware! Things may look possible for your evil plots at first; but you are deceived. You can’t threaten God’s leaders and get away with it.
So, this results in the fact that the month typically means happiness for those who follow God’s ways. It turns out to be a month of celebration, dancing and joy in the end. The people of God are given strength to overcome the world.
If you have been oppressed and held back by the enemy, take heart and persevere. God will fight for you. He is your strength.
ROSH CHODESH ADAR/HAPPY SABBATH
The day begins with a beautiful Shabbat, Adar 1, 5785/Saturday March 1, 2025. What an amazing way to start a new month. What would be better than to celebrate the new moon by worshiping the One who created the sun, moon and stars. Worship with your whole heart on this glorious Sabbath day!
