This is the word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, early in the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah: This is what the LORD Almighty says: “See, I will break the bow of Elam, the mainstay of their might. – (Jeremiah 49:34)
DELIVERANCE FROM ENEMIES
So shall they fear the name of the LORD where the sun sets, and His glory where it rises. For He will come like a raging flood, driven by the breath of the LORD. – (Isaiah 59:19)

So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. – (John 16:22)
EXPANDING THE ROYAL FAMILY
But the king must not acquire many horses for himself or send the people back to Egypt to acquire more horses, for the LORD has said, ‘You are never to go back that way again.’ He must not take many wives for himself, lest his heart go astray. He must not accumulate for himself large amounts of silver and gold. When he is seated on his royal throne, he must write for himself a copy of this instruction on a scroll in the presence of the Levitical priests.… – (Deuteronomy 17:16-18.)
RULING GOD’S WAY
