In looking back over the years we have gathered so many lovely thoughts about Valentine’s Day.
Of course; we have searched out the real meaning of the day. Then we came up with many creative and fun ways to celebrate the day. These posts included exotic meals for lovers and simple treats for grandkids. There were crafts and festive decorations. We even scoped out some of our favorite places to visit with that special someone we love the most.
For about ten years now we have not lacked for new ways to post different ideas of how to enjoy Valentine’s Day. Now that adds up to a lot of posts!
So today we have gathered them all together into one summary. Check out ALL of our Valentine’s articles below. Just think of this publication as a special February seasonal post for “all things Valentines.”
Enjoy!
Just to make this edition even a bit more “special” we have also included some of our favorite post from other amazing bloggers on the same subjects.
Enjoy them too!
We start out with an amazingly wonderful article by Ann Voskamp; who is a writer that always reaches the heart:

Maybe you have not met your “special someone” yet. It could be that you are spending this day all alone. No need to fret; love is still in the air. What could be more fun than reading one of Rachel Hauck’s romantic books while passing the time on Valentine’s Day? I especially loved her Royal Wedding Series, but ALL of her books are wonderful. My very favorite? A romantic one indeed – “The Wedding Dress.” “The Writing Desk” also captured my heart.
Here are some of our thoughts on some of Rachel’s amazing novels:
Both “The Wedding Dress” and “The Writing Desk” by Rachel Houck are what we call “time-slip fiction. Time-slip fiction is when two stories from different times cross the boundaries of time somehow. The stories complete one another in an amazing way. Rachel Houck puts these types of novels together very well. Here is a blog post from another blogger that gives some other great examples of time-slip novels that might interest you: https://www.wovenbywords.com/2020/10/time-slip-novels-not-to-be-missed.html
Maybe you aren’t into books for Valentine’s Day entertainment; but how about a date-night movie? I highly recommend “One Night With The King.” It is the story of Esther and a very beautiful and unique production. You can find it from any movie outlet; the production year was 2014.
Well; the love story of all love stories should be the relationship you have with Jesus Christ. There is none equal to The Messiah so remember to spend some time with your Beloved on this special day. Turn any alone time into me and Jesus time and see if the whole world doesn’t change in one instant.
