Back at Landgraf Castle we sometimes look for menus and ideas to go with the events of Fall on the Farm.
One dish I will love serving for dessert is an old favorite recipe called Haystacks.
These delicious candies will go right along with our theme; so let’s get started:
FALL HAYSTACKS
Ingredients:
1-2/3 CUP BUTTERSCOTCH MORSELS
3/4 CUP CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
1 (8.5 OZ) CAN CHOW MIEN NOODLES
3-1/2 CUPS MINIATURE MARSHMELLOWS.
Directions:
Line a large baking tray with wax paper. Microwave butterscotch morsels using medium setting for heat for one minute. Stir until morsels are completely melted and then add peanut butter. Blend all well, then add chow mien noodles. Coat them well, then add marshmallows. When all is coated well drop by the spoon-fulls onto the prepared tray. Refrigerate until they have hardened. Enjoy!
