These days of Elul lead us right up into The Ten Days of Awe. The Ten Days of Awe lead us through The Feast of Trumpets and through The Day of Atonement.
The Day of Atonement is the most sacred day of the Hebraic year. In 2023 it happens from sunset on September 24th through sunset on September 25th.
Right now is the time and season for preparation to free our souls. Once we are totally free and attoned (After the Day of Atonement) we must begin to prepare for God’s Fall Feast called The Feast of Tabernacles. There are five days between Atonement and Tabernacles. More preparations are in order during this time.
Having communed with God during Teshuvah/Elul/The Feast of Trumpets/The Days of Awe andThe Day of Atonement; we have no reason not to be rejoicing in this great upcoming feast of God’s people.
It is all about returning to God. The word Teshuvah actually means “returning.”
If we have accidentally or deliberately taken a detour off the path of God’s ways; this is the time to repent and return.
The ancients have advised us that God is out in the fields during this season. He is observing the harvest of souls for this year. He is listening to your heart and waiting on your prayers. This book full of 29 beautiful devotions and illustrations of the season would be very helpful to anyone.
As a matter of fact, if you don’t get it ordered in time for Teshevah this year, you can also use this devotional as a daily devotional tool all through the year. It will be there waiting for you on Teshevah of next year too.
There is still plenty of time left though.

Many believe this season is only for the Jewish. However; because of our belief in Messiah, it might be even more important to Christian believers of today’s world.
If you are unfamiliar with The Ten Days of Awe from A Christian persepective; this will give you a clear picture of those days.
