WE START WITH A REVIEW
Numbers, Chapter Seven will be a review for many who have been following our COME AS A CHILD BIBLE STUDY on a regular basis.
We are growing and changing and learning as we go here.
Our knowledge is layered and we find ourselves now going from milk to meat; and that is good!
But; it never hurts to review before moving on. That is a great thing; because we can dig deeper into some of the things we have already studied. We love it when we have time to stop and do that.
By now the meanings and the symbolism of the stories of God’s chosen people should be firmly shaped inside our minds; and we can look at the next layer of what everything really means to us today.
This is where the knowledge of the mind sinks down into the heart.
LOOKING AT THE BUILDING BLOCKS
I will begin by referencing some older lessons that laid the first stones for these subjects from Numbers Chapter 7. You need the basics before you begin to go further into details; so if you have not studied any of the first lessons we reference here; please do review them as they are presented inside these next sections of this article.
These foundation-laying lessons are important. There is no need to repeat the same lessons in another lesson format when they are already written out in previous lessons.
A few of what I share here may be lessons that we presented in an old blog; and if that is the case; we will be transferring them over to this blog more and more as we move along in our studies.
THE HOPE OF EVERYTHING BEING IN ONE PLACE SOON
Looking back there (to my older blog where the bible study first started in 2014) tells me how much progress we have made in this study over the last few years. I’ve been hoping to shut the older blog down for a long time.
Back in those days (around 2014) we started studying in Genesis.
Here we are in Numbers already!
I hope you are laughing at this point; because we have managed to pull 268 individual lessons out of only the first four books of the bible! You can’t say we haven’t been thorough. The strangest thing about that is the fact that we could have doubled that; but we just didn’t have time.
We’ve spent almost a year for each book in total in covering each of the first four books of the bible. The time passes so fast when you are spending it with The Father.
We aren’t in a hurry.
Everything builds on the last thing that happened, and all of the details matter. It took millenniums for all of these things to happen in history!
This blog you are reading now has continued the on-going study beginning with 2017. I’ve slowly been transferring old lessons over; so if any review is needed it is available to everyone. I don’t want to reference the old; because it will eventually go away and everything will be here.
Hopefully my book that covers all of our study in Genesis will also be published soon. That will centralize many lessons and give everyone something to keep for reference. This lesson will contain some review from our former Exodus and Leviticus studies too.
All of this organization is very time consuming; and this author is learning patience. She hopes it is helpful to you as we continue to add the layers of the progression of biblical history.
THE SUBJECTS OF NUMBERS, CHAPTER SEVEN
Chapter seven starts by explaining that Moses anointed and consecrated all of the tabernacle and its furnishings.
We already have created so many progressive lessons that describe that anointing process. Below are topics for a starting place and a review for you. Just follow the links and read and refresh your mind on exactly what happened when and how.
It is time to stop to realize all that we have previously discussed on this subject; then we will move on into a summary of what all of these things meant to the people of Israel in the days of Moses, and also explore what they mean today to Christians who are trying to follow Christ in this present era.

So now that we have refreshed our minds with the basic foundation of the lessons for the building of the tabernacle and the preparation of the furnishings within it, and all that they stood for in symbolic patterns that tell us the story of God; let’s let it all sink in until next Thursday when we will again move forward and continue on our journey through the Book of Numbers.
Remember to study prayerfully.
God is the real teacher; not the writer or the person doing the study.
If you pray before you begin to read God’s Holy Spirit will open your mind and your heart to many amazing and wonderful thoughts. God’s Word in the Holy Scriptures will confirm each other as you keep on your study. If you can’t confirm something through scripture; more than likely you have taken a wrong turn; pray and start again.
There are many more exciting adventures to come!
