THE TRUTH ABOUT TRAVEL
(By Gail Landgraf)
Travel on your Gypsy song,
To far away places I’ve never known.
Pity me, so shamelessly,
For missing all the world you see.
I have a secret you do not know,
A place where you will never go….
Called “Home.”
There are hidden my greatest treasurers,
Of love and simple little pleasures,
Much of which you could not fathom,
Or even comprehend.
And though you’ve traveled both near and far
You’ve never really been.
